Full-Time Posi­tion

Com­pen­sa­tion is $16 – $18/​hour depend­ing on experience.

High Road Edi­bles is a for­ward-think­ing cannabis edi­bles whole­saler based in Mis­soula, Mon­tana. We’re ded­i­cat­ed to pro­vid­ing high-qual­i­ty prod­ucts to our dis­pen­sary part­ners across the state and are look­ing for a pas­sion­ate and dri­ven Pack­ag­ing Asso­ciate to join our team.

Respon­si­bil­i­ties

  • Learns and per­forms effi­cient tech­niques for pack­ag­ing edibles.
  • Cleans pro­duc­tion areas to ensure no cross-con­t­a­m­i­­na­­tion occurs.
  • Per­forms duties in a safe and com­pli­ant man­ner while adher­ing to all gov­ern­men­tal reg­u­la­tions for the cannabis industry.
  • Assists in mon­i­tor­ing sup­plies and inventory.
  • Per­forms oth­er duties as assigned.

Qual­i­fi­ca­tions

  • Mon­tana Cannabis Con­trol mar­i­jua­na work­er per­mit required.
  • Our ide­al can­di­date is atten­tive to detail; shows ini­tia­tive to learn; is punc­tu­al, depend­able, and col­lab­o­ra­tive; and has a team-ori­en­t­ed work ethic.

Work­ing Envi­ron­ment & Conditions

  • Stand or sit for long peri­ods of time, fre­quent bend­ing, ambi­ent temperature.
  • Stand­ing, walk­ing, bend­ing, and lift­ing up to 50 pounds, car­ry­ing prod­uct totes, push­ing carts, mov­ing and mak­ing adjust­ments to process equipment.
  • Must be able to per­form repet­i­tive tasks (i.e., weigh­ing prod­ucts, box­ing, labeling).
  • Wel­come to lis­ten to music, pod­casts, audio­books, etc., via head­phones while working.

We’re ded­i­cat­ed to pro­vid­ing high-qual­i­ty prod­ucts to our dis­pen­sary part­ners across the state and are look­ing for a pas­sion­ate and dri­ven Sales Direc­tor to join our team and work close­ly with our retailers.

Job Sum­ma­ry

High Road Edi­bles is seek­ing a dynam­ic Sales Direc­tor to lead our sales oper­a­tions in Mon­tana. This role is cru­cial in dri­ving growth for both of our brands (High Road Edi­bles and Forge Can­na), man­ag­ing sales activ­i­ties, and fos­ter­ing rela­tion­ships with key accounts across the state. The Sales Direc­tor will work close­ly with the CEO, COO, and Mar­ket­ing Direc­tor to set and meet quar­ter­ly goals, exe­cute sales and mar­ket­ing strate­gies, and ensure our prod­ucts are posi­tioned com­pet­i­tive­ly in the mar­ket. This posi­tion also man­ages High Road’s Brand Ambassador.

You’re an ide­al can­di­date for this role if you are a proac­tive com­mu­ni­ca­tor who excels at build­ing strong rela­tion­ships and pos­sess­es a nat­ur­al under­stand­ing of business.

Respon­si­bil­i­ties

  • Direct and coor­di­nate all sales activ­i­ties for High Road Edi­bles and Forge Can­na in the Mon­tana market.

  • Man­age and main­tain rela­tion­ships with all accounts, includ­ing dis­pen­sary own­ers and key decision-makers.

  • Set and review quar­ter­ly sales goals, ensur­ing tar­gets are met or exceeded.

  • Devel­op and man­age pro­mo­tion­al strate­gies and bud­gets on a quar­ter­ly basis.

  • Over­see the sales strat­e­gy, includ­ing day-to-day deci­sions and long-term planning.

  • Col­lab­o­rate with the CEO and COO on pric­ing strate­gies and pro­mo­tion­al oppor­tu­ni­ties spe­cif­ic to the state.

  • Track cus­tomer inter­ac­tions and sales activ­i­ties through Hub­Spot software.

  • Lead new prod­uct launch­es and pro­vide input on mar­ket strategy.

  • Facil­i­tate week­ly sales meet­ings to align the team on goals and performance.

  • Coor­di­nate with the Mar­ket­ing Direc­tor on mer­chan­dis­ing, pro­mo­tion­al mate­ri­als, and displays.

  • Ensure effec­tive bud­ten­der edu­ca­tion, mer­chan­dis­ing, and in-store pop-up events.

  • Spend at least 2 – 3 days/​week in the field, vis­it­ing accounts and engag­ing with retail teams.

  • Uphold and pro­mote High Road Edi­bles’ sup­port­ive com­pa­ny culture.

  • Demon­strate a pas­sion for High Road Edibles/​Forge Can­na and exten­sive knowl­edge of the cannabis industry.

  • Use per­sua­sive sales abil­i­ties to effec­tive­ly posi­tion prod­ucts against com­peti­tors and build mar­ket share.

  • Cul­ti­vate con­struc­tive, long-term rela­tion­ships with both inter­nal team mem­bers and exter­nal part­ners, espe­cial­ly major account buyers.

  • Exhib­it per­sis­tence, a pos­i­tive atti­tude, and a proac­tive approach to prob­lem solving.

  • Com­mu­ni­cate clear­ly and effec­tive­ly in both writ­ten and ver­bal forms with all lev­els of the organization.

  • Main­tain flex­i­bil­i­ty in your sched­ule with avail­abil­i­ty for some week­ends and evenings.

  • Show a com­mit­ment to pro­vid­ing excep­tion­al cus­tomer ser­vice and build­ing strong rap­port with clients and team members.

Qual­i­fi­ca­tions

  • Proven expe­ri­ence in rela­tion­ship man­age­ment, mar­ket­ing, or a relat­ed busi­ness field.

  • Knowl­edge of the Mon­tana cannabis mar­ket is preferred.

  • Abil­i­ty to trav­el as required.

  • Excel­lent orga­ni­za­tion­al skills.

  • Pas­sion for High Road­’s products.

  • Must pos­sess a valid dri­ver’s license and main­tain a clean dri­ving record. Occa­sion­al use of a per­son­al vehi­cle may be required, with mileage reim­burse­ment pro­vid­ed at stan­dard rates.

Com­pen­sa­tion

Start­ing salary ranges from $50,000 to $60,000 per year (DOE) with addi­tion­al earn­ing poten­tial through a com­mis­sion struc­ture based on total sales rev­enue. Expect­ed annu­al com­mis­sion ranges from $10,000 to $15,000, with the oppor­tu­ni­ty to increase based on excep­tion­al sales per­for­mance. This struc­ture offers moti­vat­ed team mem­bers the poten­tial to sig­nif­i­cant­ly increase their earn­ings as they grow in the role.
