High Road Edi­bles is a chef-found­ed cannabis edi­bles whole­saler based in Mis­soula, Mon­tana. Our mis­sion is to cre­ate thought­ful, high-qual­i­ty cannabis prod­ucts that stand out on dis­pen­sary shelves and deliv­er reli­able expe­ri­ences for con­sumers. With two dis­tinct prod­uct lines — High Road Edi­bles and Forge Can­na — we serve retail part­ners across Montana.

Job Sum­ma­ry

We’re look­ing for a Sales Rep­re­sen­ta­tive to help exe­cute our sales and mar­ket­ing efforts in the field. This role is ide­al for some­one who enjoys build­ing rela­tion­ships, sup­port­ing retail accounts, and rep­re­sent­ing a trust­ed brand. — but doesn’t need to be the one craft­ing sales strat­e­gy from scratch. You’ll work close­ly with our CEO, COO, mar­ket­ing direc­tor, and brand ambas­sador to keep retail­ers stocked, sup­port­ed, and excit­ed to sell our prod­ucts. You’ll also play a key role in track­ing and influ­enc­ing sell-through by help­ing pri­or­i­tize retail out­reach and ensur­ing time­ly, accu­rate order processing.

Respon­si­bil­i­ties

Retail Account Support

  • Vis­it dis­pen­sary part­ners 2 – 3 days/​week to check in, restock mar­ket­ing mate­ri­als, and gath­er feedback.

  • Serve as a trust­ed point of con­tact for bud­ten­ders and store buy­ers, relay­ing updates and col­lect­ing input for the inter­nal team.

  • Mon­i­tor prod­uct place­ment, inven­to­ry, and mer­chan­dis­ing con­di­tions at stores.

  • Assist with reorders or ful­fill­ment issues as needed.

  • Prospect new retail part­ners to sup­port account growth.

Brand Rep­re­sen­ta­tion & Field Marketing

  • Host pop-ups, prod­uct demos, and sam­pling events to dri­ve con­sumer inter­est and edu­cate staff.

  • Rep­re­sent High Road and Forge Can­na at indus­try events and trade shows.

  • Deliv­er edu­ca­tion­al mate­ri­als, swag, and pro­mo­tion­al kits to accounts.

Sales Admin & Inter­nal Support

  • Keep CRM (Hub­Spot) updat­ed with vis­it notes, con­tact info, sales activ­i­ty, and account priorities.

  • Receive and input orders from retail part­ners, ensur­ing accu­ra­cy and time­ly com­mu­ni­ca­tion with ful­fill­ment and logistics.

  • Help iden­ti­fy top sales oppor­tu­ni­ties and pri­or­i­tize store vis­its based on growth poten­tial, reorder fre­quen­cy, and pro­mo­tion­al cycles.

  • Coor­di­nate with inven­to­ry and ful­fill­ment teams to ensure deliv­er­ies meet store time­lines and expectations.

  • Track and restock mar­ket­ing mate­ri­als and brand­ed assets across accounts.

  • Sup­port lead­er­ship and brand ambas­sador with ter­ri­to­ry plan­ning, event logis­tics, and oth­er spe­cial projects as needed.

Expec­ta­tions

  • Demon­strate a pas­sion for High Road Edibles/​Forge Can­na and exten­sive knowl­edge of the cannabis industry.

  • Be pro­fes­sion­al, upbeat, and an excel­lent com­mu­ni­ca­tor in per­son and over email.

  • Take ini­tia­tive and stay orga­nized while work­ing inde­pen­dent­ly on the road.

  • Be com­fort­able jug­gling trav­el, rela­tion­ship-build­ing, and admin­is­tra­tive follow-up.

  • Be proac­tive about iden­ti­fy­ing oppor­tu­ni­ties for increased sales or vis­i­bil­i­ty with­in key accounts.

  • Main­tain a flex­i­ble sched­ule to accom­mo­date store vis­its, events, and travel.

Qual­i­fi­ca­tions

  • Pri­or expe­ri­ence in cus­tomer-fac­ing roles such as sales, account man­age­ment, retail, or event work.

  • Famil­iar­i­ty with the Mon­tana cannabis mar­ket is a plus.

  • Must be com­fort­able with fre­quent in-state trav­el and have a valid driver’s license with a clean dri­ving record.

  • Pro­fi­cient in Gmail, spread­sheets, and CRM tools (or quick to learn).

  • Pas­sion­ate about cannabis and help­ing dis­pen­sary teams succeed.

Com­pen­sa­tion

Start­ing salary ranges from $50,000 to $60,000 per year (DOE) with addi­tion­al earn­ing poten­tial through a com­mis­sion struc­ture based on new sales rev­enue. We also offer bonus­es twice per year and annu­al per­for­mance reviews.
